Craig Weeden and Jimmy Palmiotti frequently collaborate on projects for film and TV, including their adaptations of Jimmy and Joe Quesada’s graphic novel Painkiller Jane and Jimmy and Garth Ennis’s Back to Brooklyn. They also developed Jimmy’s graphic novel Queen Crab into a TV series for MiLa Media. Fantasima is their third graphic novel.
On the solo front, Craig (MA English, MFA Creative Writing) optioned his crime thriller Diamond Payback (2011 Script Pipeline Finalist under the title Lost Stones) to Emmett Furla Oasis Films and wrote the action thriller Dark Red for Leigh Simons Productions. Craig’s poetry and fiction have been published in The Southern Poetry Review, New Orleans Review, Mike Shayne Mystery Magazine, Tennis, etc. Mia’s Gift, a middle-grade novel he wrote with his wife Victoria, won numerous awards.
